Ancient Enlightened Tarot Deck

A cult classic for history nerds and occult lovers: Ancient Enlightened Tarot is a modern printing of the Sola Busca Tarocchi—a late-1400s Italian deck packed with bold, strange, story-like scenes on every card (even the minors). Instead of the usual medieval tarot figures, you’ll see mythic and historical characters, Renaissance symbolism, and a strong hermetic/alchemical vibe that makes readings feel like opening an old illustrated manuscript.

The original Sola Busca deck is considered the earliest fully surviving 78-card tarot, created by an unknown artist in the late 15th century (often dated around 1490–1491, Venice). This edition was published/curated as a collectible release by Lo Scarabeo
